Hand washing is preferred using a gentle detergent in cold or lukewarm water, machine washing is also allowed on a gentle or delicate cycle with similar colours. Please place thobe in a wash bag if using machine wash. After washing, reshape your thobe while still damp and air dry while avoiding direct sunlight. Steaming is preferred, for ironing, Iron on a low setting, turning the thobe inside out to protect any trims. It is normal for the tape to shrink during washing, this will return to normal once ironed inside out on a low setting. Treat stains promptly, and avoid using bleach to maintain the fabric’s quality and colour.
